Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail‑oriented Medical Assistant to provide high‑quality, team‑based patient care in a pediatric primary care setting. Under the direct supervision of a clinician, this role supports both clinical and administrative functions to promote patient health, wellness, and an exceptional care experience. The Medical Assistant plays a key role in assisting clinicians and care management teams with patient assessments, chronic disease management, examinations, treatments, and in‑house laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality, team‑based patient care under the supervision of a licensed clinician
  • Assist clinicians and care management teams with patient assessments, examinations, treatments, and chronic disease management
  • Perform all laboratory testing procedures, including:
    • Venipuncture
    • Finger sticks
    • Heel sticks
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory quality control and safety standards
  • Accurately obtain and record patient vital signs (manual vitals preferred)
  • Provide friendly, professional, and patient‑centered customer service
  • Support clinic operations by maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient care environment

Required Skills

Minimum 6 months of experience in a clinic or back office healthcare setting.

  • Medical Assistant diploma or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Phlebotomy experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Coconut Creek, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37035.18 - $52304.07/yr.
