Job Title: RN – Trauma ICU
Location: Bronx, NY
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Pay Rate: $70 – $77 per hour
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity Trauma Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role involves providing specialized, evidence-based care to critically ill trauma patients while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary critical care team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct, comprehensive nursing care to critically ill trauma patients

Continuously monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and diagnostic imaging for changes in patient status

Administer medications, blood products, and advanced therapeutic interventions as prescribed

Collaborate closely with trauma surgeons, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members

Manage advanced life-support equipment, including ventilators, central lines, arterial lines, and other critical care devices

Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely patient documentation in accordance with regulatory standards

Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and recovery expectations

Adhere strictly to infection control guidelines and patient safety protocols
Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU or Trauma ICU experience required

Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required

Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and decision-making skills

Ability to perform effectively under pressure in high-acuity settings
