Job DescriptionMechanical AssemblerResponsibilities:
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprints specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
- Assembles fabricated parts to relatively large or heavy subassemblies and complete units
- Reads and interprets blueprints / drawings as needed. Tests and calibrates parts mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
- Performs on-line “go”, “no-go” testing and inspection, using measuring instruments, and test equipment, to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read & interpret blueprints and drawings
- Certificates of training in blueprint reading and welding preferred
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a mechanic
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to respond in short form and discuss in small groups
Hours:
- M-Fri; 6am-2:30pm
Pay:
- $18/hour
