We are a child psychology office that assists children with educational, social, and emotional needs in a clinical homeschool setting. The academic/behavioral facilitator plays a crucial role in fostering a supportive environment for students with learning disabilities. This position involves assisting teachers and implementing curriculum per teacher guidance. You would collaborate with other educators and support staff to create a cohesive learning experience.

Duties

• Initiate interactions with children
• Provide support and guidance to students, fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment
• Lead small recreational/supportive technology groups (Art, Technology, Park, etc)
• Incorporate therapy recommendations into daily routine under supervision of educator
• Use developmentally appropriate practices
• Assist teacher in implementing curriculum
• Assist teacher in implementing support of Education Plan

Requirements

• Associate's degree or higher
• Experience and passion for working with children
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to initiate interactions and create a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth
• Compassionate and understanding approach when working with diverse learners

Hours: 8:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday
