Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity to serve as a full-time General Education Teacher for a first-grade classroom is available in an elementary school setting, with a contract running from ASAP through April 20th, 2026. This role is focused on providing high-quality education to young learners within a general education environment.
Location: Edison, NJ
Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Duration: Contract through April 20th, 2026
Grade Level: First Grade
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction to first-grade students in a general education classroom.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth and learning.
- Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and school-wide initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey teaching license with credentials valid for elementary education.
- Experience teaching at the elementary level, preferably with first-grade students.
- Ability to work onsite full-time, adhering to school schedules.
- Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills.
