Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position offers the opportunity to work as a Special Education Teacher serving students across K-12 grades in Santa Cruz, CA. The assignment begins in January 2026 and runs through June 2026, with a typical schedule of 30 to 37.5 hours per week over five days. The role involves supporting students in self-contained classrooms, resource settings, and special day classrooms.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), adapting curriculum to meet diverse learning needs, collaborating with education teams, and managing caseloads across grades K through 12.
