Job descriptionWe are a growing a landscaping company in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio Area, we looking for a dedicated landscaping professional to be our field supervisor. This is a complete hands-on position and requires someone with 5 years of Field Supervisor experience. Landscape supervisors are responsible for managing all field operations. They coordinate the procurement and scheduled use of resources such as labor, equipment, and materials to ensure maximum use and completion of work within budget, safety guidelines and quality standards as well as responsible for putting together a rigorous training program to train and improve skills of laborers and foremen. As a landscaping supervisor, you will manage a crew of landscape workers and make sure they are completing jobs in a satisfactory manner according to the design and wishes of the customer. The supervisor may also be responsible for aspects of the design and will create a plan and schedule all of the tasks that must be completed. The supervisor may also keep track of the budget and all expenditures. We offer a complete range of services include but not limited to:
Lawn maintenance

Landscaping

Snow/Ice management
Job Responsibilities

· Manage all Field Operation crews with respect to job schedules and enter schedule in LMN

• Procure resources for jobs: labor, equipment, materials
• Ensure that the crews work within safety guidelines and quality standards
• Train employees in the proper way to do all landscaping tasks
• Maintain equipment, note when equipment is broken or needs to be replaced
• Manage Inspections of properties to ensure all work is being done properly and professionally
• Take responsibility for inventory and equipment inspections on monthly basis using computer sheets for equipment and inventory.
• Have experience in running crews, snow plowing and managing people.

Requirements for job:

• 3+ years of experience in snow plowing with a truck, dump truck, skid steer and loaders.
• 3+ years of experience leading a crew of at least 4-8 crew members in lawn care and snow removal assignments. References are a MUST
• 3+ years experience in repairing all kinds of equipment, inc. lawn care and snow removal equipment (including but not limited to: mowers, trimmers, chainsaw, all kinds of power tools, blowers, snow blowers, leaf vacuum machine, salt spreaders, snow rators, skid steer, trucks and dump trucks) .
• Self-motivated with excellent attendance and a desire to grow within the company.
• Understand scheduling needs and job requirements
• Excellent communication with crews, customers and co-workers
• Experience in all areas of landscaping work
• Computer skills & knowledge of Excel, Word etc.
• Must pass background check and have a valid & clean driving record
