Desired Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Previous experience as an OR Circulator RN required
- Strong scrubbing skills are highly preferred
- Proficiency in operating room procedures for General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Plastics, and Urology
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary surgical team
- BLS certification (required)
- Strong critical thinking, organization, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub for a variety of surgical cases, ensuring optimal patient safety and adherence to sterile technique
- Prepare the operating room and coordinate supplies, instruments, and equipment for each case
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other perioperative staff to anticipate needs before, during, and after procedures
- Document nursing care and interventions according to established protocols
- Assist with pre-op and post-op patient assessments and transitions
- Support ongoing efforts to maintain a safe and efficient environment for patients and team members
