What you’ll do
- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including gathering medical histories and vital signs.
- Administer medications and vaccines
- Support clinical procedures in diverse areas such as internal medicine, and emergency medicine.
- Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure accurate documentation
- Facilitate communication between patients and medical staff to enhance patient service.
- Prepare patients for examinations, including assisting with X-rays and other diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in outpatient settings
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Basic qualifications
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in handling EHR systems for efficient patient management.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in primary care
- CMA certification
- Fluency in Spanish Preferred
