Job Description

Seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, manage pain, and restore function through individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

Assist PTs with patient care and therapy exercises
Track and report patient progress
Educate patients on home programs and safe activity
Support PTs in patient handling, treatment, and safety

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited PTA program
DC PTA license required
Minimum 1 year outpatient experience preferred
Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and therapeutic interventions
Ability to motivate patients and provide compassionate care
Physical stamina to assist patients safely
