About the Role:
The Administrative Accounting Clerk plays a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organization by managing and maintaining accurate accounting records and administrative documentation. Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in an accounting or administrative support role, preferably within a corporate or financial environment.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with ERP systems such as Quantum.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
• Prior experience supporting audit processes and financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Process and verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain and update accounting records, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are properly documented.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, summaries, and reconciliations to support accounting and auditing activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payment processing.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures by compiling necessary documentation and assisting with audit preparations.
• Manage filing systems and maintain organized records of financial documents and correspondence.
• Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, scheduling, and communication to support the accounting team.
