Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Special Education Teacher position is available in Denver, CO, to support high school students requiring specialized instruction. This full-time contract role calls for an educator committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment and enhancing students' academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and support for high school students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive student support.
- Develop, implement, and consistently monitor IEP goals and accommodations.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to data collection and analysis.
Qualifications:
- An active Colorado Special Education teaching license is required.
- Experience working with high school students is preferred.
- Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families.
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in Denver, CO.
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- On-site attendance is required.
- Contract assignment ending May 29, 2026, with the start date as soon as possible.
Compensation and Benefits:
