Step into a critical role within a neonatal intensive care unit renowned for delivering complex, life-saving care to neonates facing challenging conditions. The unit is recognized as either Level III or IV by the American Academy of Pediatrics, meaning you’ll engage with the most advanced forms of neonatal care and monitoring. Desired Qualifications:

  • Active RN license and applicable state licensure
  • Minimum of one year of recent NICU experience
  • BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications (required)
  • Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple care disciplines and provide supervision to supporting nursing staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver coordinated, evidence-based nursing care to assigned neonates, in alignment with established standards and the nursing process
  • Monitor and assess neonates with life-threatening conditions in a Level III/IV NICU setting
  • Supervise and mentor supporting nursing personnel, ensuring high standards of care
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Apply independent judgment and leadership in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
