Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in Billings, Montana. The position is a contract-to-hire assignment with a client seeking a long-term solution and candidates open to relocating. The role requires working 40 hours per week Monday through Friday on day shifts, primarily utilizing Liberty software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and review medication orders ensuring accuracy, appropriateness, and patient safety
- Prepare and pack non-sterile medications as needed; no sterile compounding required
- Assist with register duties, drive-thru service, and prescription entry
- Ensure compliance with store policies, state and federal regulations, and compounding standards when applicable
- Oversee pharmacy technicians daily workflow and operations
Qualifications:
- Active and clear Montana Pharmacist License required; pending licenses considered but cost not covered
- BLS and Immunization Certifications required
- Minimum one year of retail pharmacy experience preferred; strong new graduates welcome
- Experience with Liberty software is a plus
- High-volume pharmacy background is preferred
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, day shift
