As our Controller, you will be a key leader responsible for overseeing the companys accounting operations, maintaining strong financial controls, and delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. What Youll Do
As our Controller, you will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations while providing leadership and insight into the companys financial performance. You will work closely with executive leadership to ensure financial processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals.
This role is hybrid with required in-office days Tuesday-Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting for Colorfuel and each subsidiary company
- Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
- Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls and accounting policies
- Coordinate and manage external audits and tax preparation processes
- Support the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts
- Analyze financial results and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
- Partner with leadership to improve financial processes and reporting efficiencies
- Oversee cash flow management and financial planning activities
- Mentor and support members of the finance team
- Perform other duties as assigned

- A finance professional who combines strong technical accounting expertise with strategic thinking
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can move easily between detailed financial analysis and high-level business discussions
- Known for your integrity, attention to detail, and ability to communicate financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders

- Knowledgeable about GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Strong understanding of internal controls and risk management

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license strongly preferred
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Experience managing full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
- Experience with multi-entity or multi-company environments preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
