As a compliance specialist, you will play a key part in ensuring that our organization adheres to all applicable regulations and standards. Your duties will encompass conducting internal audits, maintaining health and safety protocols, assisting with external audits, and facilitating the credentialing process for licensed or certified staff that work with kids with autism in our clinics, schools, and in home based settings.

Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with regulations such as DOE, DCF, PA IBHS, FERPA, and HIPAA.
- Perform quarterly physical plant assessments to ensure health and safety standards are met.
- Report audit and assessment findings professionally and constructively.
- Assist in developing remediation plans as needed.
- Support external audits as directed.
- Facilitate the credentialing process for licensed/certified staff.
- Attend compliance committee meetings and contribute as required.
- Review and approve new hires' background checks and documents.
- Assist with new hire orientation.
- Maintain cooperative relationships with all departments and staff.
- Stay updated on laws, regulations, and policies related to compliance.
- Travel to FCS sites as necessary.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
