A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Wilkes Barre, PA, offering a contract position from March 1, 2026, to June 5, 2026. This role focuses on providing essential speech therapy services within a school environment, supporting early childhood students aged 4 to 5 years.
Key responsibilities include conducting approximately 130 speech and language evaluations for young children, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating with educators and families to promote communication development. The ideal candidate will hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and have experience working in school settings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP certification with CCC credential
- Previous school-based speech therapy experience preferred
- Strong skills in early childhood speech and language assessment
- Ability to manage a caseload of evaluations efficiently
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
