- Unit: EAST FLORIDA DIVISION (22) – 12 beds\n

\n\nJob Requirements\n
- \n
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required\n
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)\n
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care hospital RRT experience\n
- ICU / critical care experience preferred (highly valued for acute care and cardiovascular units)\n
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred\n
- Strong critical thinking, patient-centered care, and teamwork skills\n
\n\nResponsibilities\n

- Provide assessment, treatment, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiency, asthma, pneumonia, COPD/emphysema, and post-op respiratory needs\n
- Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment including oxygen cylinders/concentrators, nebulizers, suction devices, ventilators, CPAP & BiPAP machines\n
- Deliver evidence-based respiratory care in an acute care hospital and collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team\n
- Maintain appropriate patient ratios (1:1 or 2:1) depending on acuity and unit needs\n
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing safety and quality patient outcomes\n
