Job Title: Diagnostic Technician (Phlebotomy & EKG Certified)
Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
Assignment: 13-Week Travel Contract
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12 hrs/week | Every other weekend & holidays
Pay: Up to $1,900/week
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Diagnostic Technician to perform phlebotomy and cardiac diagnostic testing in an acute care setting. Responsible for specimen collection, EKGs, Holter monitoring, and stress testing while ensuring accurate documentation, patient safety, and compliance with hospital protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws and collect clinical specimens
- Conduct EKGs, Holter monitor setups, and stress testing
- Ensure proper patient identification and procedure explanation
- Transport specimens and maintain accurate lab/test documentation
- Update records in hospital systems and communicate workflow changes
- Assist clinical staff and support training of new team members
- Follow infection control, safety, and PPE guidelines
- Maintain supplies, equipment, and clean work areas
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy Certification (PBT) – Required
- EKG Certification – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
- Strong phlebotomy & EKG skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and multitasking skills
Preferred
- Acute care hospital experience
- Experience with cardiac diagnostic equipment
- Training/mentoring experience
