Job Title: Cath Lab Tech – Interventional Services (Radiology/Cardiology)
Location: Port St. Lucie, FL
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Weekly Hours: 36–40 Hours
Schedule
- Shift: Day Shift – 4x10 Hours (07:00 – 17:30)
- Hours: 36–40 hours/week
- Call Requirement: Yes (case-by-case basis)
- Weekend Requirement: As per unit needs
- Floating: Required (Martin North, South, Tradition facilities)
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a high-acuity catheterization lab. This role requires expertise in scrub, circulator, and monitoring functions while assisting physicians in complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Perform scrub, circulator, and monitoring duties
- Prepare cath lab equipment and maintain sterile field
- Support procedures including angioplasty (PTCA/PCI), stent placement, and catheterizations
- Assist with IABP placement/removal and emergency interventions
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and identify arrhythmias
- Ensure accurate procedural documentation (EPIC)
- Maintain infection control and patient safety standards
- Collaborate with cardiologists, RNs, and care teams
- Float across Cath Lab, IR, Vascular, and Neuro units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months Cath Lab experience (2 years preferred)
- Experience in at least 2 areas: Cath Lab, IR, Vascular, Neuro
- Strong experience in scrub, circulating, and monitoring roles
- EPIC EMR experience (Required)
- Ability to work in high-acuity, fast-paced environment
Certifications
- BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) – Required
- ACLS – Required
- RCIS or RCVT – Preferred
