Join our team in forming large rolls of thin metal into siding for buildings and roofs. As a General Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production process.
Responsibilities
- Perform all quality checks to ensure the highest quality in produced items.
- Double count all pieces and verify color and profile before wrapping.
- Maintain adequate stock of flats in racks.
- Complete all orders that require running flats for trucks scheduled for the day.
- Assist with lifting sheet metal into machines with a partner.
- Clean work area daily, including sweeping floors, emptying trash, and stacking pallets.
Essential Skills
- Experience with tape measure, general production, and manufacturing.
- 6 months of general labor experience.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift 75 pounds.
- Strong math skills and comfort with using computers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in construction, production line, assembling, and quality checks.
- Proficiency with hand tools and cleaning tasks.
- Great attendance record in previous positions.

Work Environment
Work on the 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm, which may extend to 10-12 hour days as weather improves, or on the 2nd shift from 2:45pm to 11:15pm. Currently, shifts may range from 12-13 hours. Dress code includes jeans, steel-toed boots, and long sleeve shirts with arm protectors provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Peters, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
