Summary:

Our client in Liberty, SC is seeking a Customer Service/Admin Clerk to support day-to-day utility operations. The ideal candidates will bring a customer service or administrative background preferably from the public sector or utilities related industry.

This is a full-time, Direct Hire position on-site in Liberty, SC paying $20-22/hour with benefits.

\n
Responsibilities:

- Deliver customer service in person, by phone, and electronically
- Process payments accurately (cash, check, card)
- Support utility billing, including preparing and distributing bills
- Update and maintain customer accounts and service records
- Coordinate service requests and work orders with operations teams
- Balance payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Perform general administrative tasks (data entry, filing, correspondence)
- Share service updates and public communications as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues
- Follow established policies and complete additional assigned tasks

Qualifications:
\n

- Experience in government or utilities related industry preferred
- Familiarity with billing or accounting systems is preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service, clerical support, billing, cashiering, or a related administrative role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and payment processing
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent
