Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A leave position is open for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at an elementary school in Bothell, WA, offering flexible scheduling options. This contract role can be tailored to one day per week, serving 9 preschool students, or up to four days per week, supporting approximately 36 students ranging from preschool to elementary ages. The position requires in-person work and offers a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in students' communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Current Washington State SLP License
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in school-age children
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in a school setting preferred
Location: Bothell, WA (Elementary School setting)
