A full-time opportunity for a dedicated School Psychologist serving elementary students in grades K-5 is now available at a reputable school located in Collegedale, TN. This onsite position involves a 37.5-hour workweek, offering a rewarding role supporting young learners within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess student needs.
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committees to collaborate on student educational planning.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students requirements.
- Design and support behavior intervention plans to promote positive student outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support academic and behavioral success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with elementary school students in grades K-5.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
- Ability to manage a full caseload with excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and educators.
