About the Opportunity
A Forbes-recommended luxury property in the Caribbean is seeking a high-performing Director of Group Sales to drive group revenue within the U.S. market. This is a strategic, revenue-focused leadership role responsible for developing and executing group sales initiatives that position the property as a premier destination for corporate retreats, incentive travel, meetings, and social groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive group sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Proactively source and secure corporate, incentive, association, and luxury social group business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with meeting planners, third-party agencies, luxury travel advisors, and corporate decision-makers
- Represent the property at trade shows, client events, and industry conferences
- Partner closely with on-property sales, revenue management, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of group programs
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
- Manage the group sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting to ensure consistent performance
Qualifications
- Proven experience in group sales within luxury hospitality or luxury lifestyle brands
- Strong understanding of the Caribbean market and established U.S.-based client network
- Demonstrated success in driving group revenue and closing high-value contracts
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Strong organizational and forecasting capabilities
