This is an amazing opportunity to join an industry leader in electrical grid connective parts manufacturing and work alongside a great team. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the machinists and machine operators in your assigned area, ensuring smooth operations and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise machinists and machine operators in the assigned area.
- Assign daily tasks and activities for the machine shop.
- Ensure direct reports are trained and up-to-date in required processes and tasks.
- Maintain cross-training matrix for direct reports and actively address gaps in training thresholds.
- Manage talent development of direct reports, including setting performance objectives and executing review processes.
- Promote a safety-first culture and drive towards zero safety incidents.
- Strive for zero quality issues in the assigned area.
- Actively manage environmental, health, and safety compliance and risk in assembly areas.
- Identify and participate in continuous improvement activities in the machine shop.
Essential Skills
- Basic understanding of blueprints, calipers, and typical machine shop procedures, processes, and tools.
- General computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong organizational skills along with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Two years of experience operating and/or programming CNC Mills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- CNC experience is preferred and considered a plus.
- Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, manual and programming skills.

Work Environment
The position is for the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday from 1:45pm to 10:15pm in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment. The facility is currently expanding, adding over 30 new welding booths and 20-30 additional machining booths. The work environment can be somewhat noisy and hot during the summer months.

This is a Permanent position based out of Olive Branch, Mississippi.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
