We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in Lynnwood, Washington. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processing and purchase order management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, and work independently with minimal supervision.


Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly payroll using Paycom, ensuring compliance with Washington state regulations and company policies.

• Manage purchase orders, including issuing, tracking, and coordinating with the inventory manager for order fulfillment.

• Handle order entry tasks and maintain accurate records of purchasing activities.

• Collaborate with team members to audit payroll and purchasing data for accuracy and completeness.

• Provide support for benefit functions, ensuring timely and accurate administration.

• Utilize accounting software systems to perform payroll and purchasing-related tasks.

• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline payroll and purchasing operations.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of employee payroll and company financial information.

• Respond promptly to inquiries regarding payroll and purchasing processes.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to payroll and procurement.


The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000.

• Proven experience in payroll administration, with a strong preference for familiarity with Paycom.
• Solid understanding of Washington state payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems and related functions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage purchase orders and related processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to self-manage and take initiative.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling payroll and purchasing tasks.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Local candidates preferred to facilitate an efficient commute to the office.
