Job Description Recruitment Specialist - Healthcare Location: Oxford, NC (Hybrid) Contract: 3-4 months Pay Rate: $35-$38/hour Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Recruitment Specialist to lead full?cycle recruitment for hospital-based physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs). This role plays a key part in building and executing provider recruitment strategies that align with operational and clinical needs within a hospital environment. Prior hospital staff recruiting experience is required. Key Responsibilities
- Lead end?to?end recruitment efforts for physicians and APPs, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer support.
- Execute targeted sourcing strategies using recruitment databases, job boards, search firms, social media, referrals, and industry networks.
- Manage job advertising and recommend effective outreach strategies aligned with healthcare recruiting best practices.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interviews with clinical leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Partner closely with leadership and clinical operations to develop detailed position profiles and recruitment plans.
- Maintain consistent and professional communication with provider candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Coordinate and manage provider site visits, including interview schedules, travel arrangements, lodging, and community tours.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residency and fellowship programs, educational institutions, and external recruitment partners.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and Medical Staff Services to support credentialing, onboarding, and orientation activities.
- Support compliance with healthcare accreditation and regulatory standards.
- Participate in job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach efforts as needed.
- Assist with special projects and other recruitment initiatives as assigned.
- Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required to support recruitment activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
- Minimum of 2 years of full?cycle healthcare recruiting experience within a hospital or health system setting.
- Hands?on experience recruiting hospital staff, including physicians and/or APPs, is required.
- Strong working knowledge of healthcare recruitment processes, credentialing workflows, and provider onboarding.
- Valid driver's license with ability to travel locally for candidate site visits and community tours.
Preferred Experience
- Direct physician and advanced practice provider recruitment experience.

Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule based in Oxford, NC
- Some after?hours and weekend work as needed
