Job Role: Sterile Processing Technician
Location: Manahawkin, NJ 08050
Shift: Day / Evening / Night
Pay Rate: $32/hr - $35/hr
Duration: 3+ months
Certifications & Licenses: CRCST or CBSPDT
Required: One year of experience
Skills: Sterile techniques, Instrument identification, Surgical procedures and equipment
Duties:
Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment to sterilize instruments.
Inspect instruments for damage, functionality, and cleanliness after sterilization.
Understands all detergents and disinfectants used to process items. Implements both Universal Precautions and proper use of P.P.E.
Adheres to correct use of computerized instrument count sheets.
