Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication processes
- Operate various power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, shears, and welding equipment including MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques
- Fabricate sheet metal, piping, structural steel and assemblies according to project specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Skilled in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques with the ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately
- Must have extensive experience working with stainless steel materials of varying thicknesses and grades.
- Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, machining, soldering, and assembly processes
- Familiarity with construction tools such as power tools, hand tools, press brake machines, plasma cutters, and forklifts
- Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and material estimations
- Experience with rigging operations for lifting heavy components safely
