A healthcare facility in the Newark, NJ area is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist with a focus on X-ray imaging to support their orthopedic department. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Prepare patients by explaining the imaging process and ensuring comfort
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in compliance with standards
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to obtain necessary images for diagnosis
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year experience, preferably in an orthopedic setting
- Valid X-ray Technician license with AART certification required
- Strong knowledge of radiologic safety standards and imaging techniques
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail
Schedule:
- Day shift, weekdays only
- 40 hours per week
