Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of experience and a valid Maryland or Compact license for an evening shift assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a community hospital setting with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
- Handles patient populations including adult, pediatric, and children's hospital cases
- Evening shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- Potential to float within the facility and to a nearby affiliate hospital as needed
- Duties may include procedures in the operating room, emergency room, and Level I Trauma areas for candidates with preferred experience
- Use of PACS and portable imaging equipment is required
- Candidates may be required to float between departments and to affiliate hospitals within their scope of practice
- Return staff must have a separation of at least 6 months before reapplying
- Annual and onboarding virtual modules are required and completed on the first day of the contract
- No requested time off will be accepted after an offer is extended
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

- Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience
- Valid Maryland or Compact state radiologic technologist license required for consideration; license required if applicable
- Experience working in outpatient, inpatient, community hospital, and pediatric environments
- References required
- Copy of certifications must be provided at time of consideration
- Experience with PACS and portable X-ray machines is required
