The Intake and Authorization Specialist ensures a smooth, positive experience for families by guiding them through the intake and onboarding process. They communicate clearly and compassionately with families, keeping them informed on onboarding, authorizations, and waitlists, while collaborating closely with clinical and operations teams to bring families into care efficiently. This role balances family support with accurate documentation and insurance compliance to ensure seamless service delivery.

Intake and Client Onboarding

Authorization Management

Eligibility and provider changes

Caseload planning support

Speech/ OT intake and Authorizations

Requirements:

Qualifications Required:

HS Diploma/GED, Bachelor's Preferred

Understanding of ABA, Speech, and Occupational Therapy (OT) services.

Knowledge of insurance and Medicaid processes

Ability to guide families through complex, multi-step processes with compassion and clarity.

Preferred:

• ABA/Speech/OT Authorization Experience
  
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
