Pharmacy Technician
Location: South Salt Lake, UT
Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Saturday–Sunday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24.45 per hour

Pharmacy Technician Compensation

The pay for this position is $24.45 per hour
Benefits available after 90 days of employment
401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs
Enter data into computer systems to process prescriptions and obtain reimbursement payments
Prepackage medications for dispensing according to regulatory standards
Assist pharmacists in final checking of filled prescriptions, staging medications for review, and packaging for delivery
Maintain accurate inventory practices, including receiving, rotating stock, and posting lot numbers/expiration dates
Support physical inventory counts and cycle counts
Help maintain a clean and safe work environment, including checking/calibrating equipment for safety and accuracy

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

Active Utah Pharmacy Technician License required
High School Diploma or GED
Attendance is mandatory during the first 90 days
Ability to work scheduled shifts (Tue–Thu 8–4, Sat–Sun 10–6)
