Job Title: Lead Stone Countertop Installer

Pay: $24-$30 hr. (based on experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Natural/Quartz Stone Countertop Installer to oversee and perform high-quality installation of granite, marble, quartz, and other natural stone countertops. This role requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. We are a very busy shop and our installers are typically working around 50 hours a week. Our job calendar is booked for the next 2+ months. Paid weekly on Fridays by direct deposit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage countertop installation projects from start to finish
- Measure, fabricate (if applicable), transport, and install natural stone countertops accurately
- Supervise and train installers/helpers at the job sites
- Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and safety requirements
- Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and contractors
- Read and interpret drawings, templates, and work orders
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges on-site
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working condition
- Making sure the company vehicle remains in good condition and keeping it clean and stocked
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience installing natural stone countertops (granite, marble, quartz, etc.)
- Prior leadership or crew lead experience required
- Strong knowledge of seam setting, leveling, cutting, and polishing
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Bilingual in Spanish (not required but must speak English to communicate with customers)
- Must have reliable transportation to our office/shop
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with installation, fabrication and problem solving
- Knowledge of adhesives, sealers, and finishing techniques
- Must know and be able to use all hand tools, drilling holes and cutting outlets
- Customer service experience in residential and/or commercial settings
