Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $20.00 per hourOverviewSPS is seeking a dependable and detailoriented Operator to support the manufacturing and handling of UL/NSFcertified products used for drinkingwater applications. This role involves operating pumps, valves, mix tanks, injection equipment, and performing general production duties in a fastpaced industrial environment.Because our products meet strict UL/NSF safety guidelines, the Operator must follow process procedures precisely and maintain accurate records at all times. The position also plays a key role in inventory management by loading tankers, bulk tanks, IBC totes, drums, and buckets.This is a handson role ideal for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys working both indoors and outdoors in a teamoriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManufacturing & Production
- Read, understand, and follow all Process Procedures according to PCT Standard Operating Procedures.
- Operate pumps, valves, motors, mix tanks, injection equipment, and related systems.
- Assist in all phases of chemical manufacturing, including transferring materials and monitoring equipment.
- Accurately document all manufacturing steps to maintain UL/NSF compliance.
- Complete and maintain daily inventory checklists, equipment logs, and process documentation.
- Maintain accurate instock inventory by preparing and loading tankers, totes, drums, and buckets.
- Support production and shipping needs by loading and unloading trucks for incoming and outgoing materials.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on pumps, valves, motors, and process equipment.
- Utilize 5S boards to organize tools, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and wellorganized work area at all times.
QualificationsRequired
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with pumps, valves, and industrial transfer equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and walk between multiple buildings.
- Ability to work in outdoor and nonclimatecontrolled environments yearround.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Preferred
- Experience loading tankers, bulk tanks, totes, drums, or similar containers.
- Experience operating a yard truck or tractortrailer.
- Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or chemical environment.
