Job DescriptionSalary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-driven Electrician to join our team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality electrical installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with code requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Bend and install conduit (EMT, RMC, PVC) and pull wire efficiently.
- Install panels, switchgear, lighting systems, and controls.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify electrical issues.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Follow all company and jobsite safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers, foreman, and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of electrical experience (commercial/industrial preferred).
- Apprenticeship certification.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and methods.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of low-voltage systems, fire alarm, or data cabling.
- Familiarity with layout and installation planning.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50lbs regularly.
- Stand, kneel, bend, and climb for extended periods.
- Work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding.
Work Environment:
- This job is fully in person, on site.
Salary:
- IBEW 269 Journeyman rate $63.82
