Position Overview:
A school district in Ventura County, CA, is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, providing flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on students munication and academic success. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and munication disorders in school-aged children, collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students academic success.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student intervention plans.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current California SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Eligibility for or possession of a California credential authorizing service in public schools.
  • Previous school-based experience is a plus.
  • Strong munication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
