As our Administrative Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Medical Staff Services Department and ensuring smooth, efficient operations that ultimately impact the patients and families we serve.
What You’ll Do
Administrative & Clerical
- Provide high-level administrative support with accuracy and professionalism
- Prepare polished reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and meeting materials
- Record and distribute detailed meeting minutes
- Manage communications promptly and courteously
- Support agency phone coverage and departmental coordination
Inpatient and Hospice & Palliative Care Coordination
- Collect and reconcile census sheets and visit logs
- Ensure accurate billing submissions
- Prepare weekly and quarterly schedules
- Support staffing coverage
- Assist in developing processes that improve care quality, documentation, coding and billing
- Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual activity reports
- Prepare referral data and visit schedules
Special Projects & Data Analysis
- Collect, analyze, and present data with creativity and accuracy
- Collaborate on special reports and agency-wide initiatives
- Support leadership with research and statistical tracking
What You Bring
✔ Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a healthcare field OR equivalent healthcare administrative experience
- Minimum 3 years of healthcare experience
- 1 year of staffing/scheduling experience preferred
- Understanding of and commitment to the Hospice philosophy of care
✔ Skills That Shine
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written communication with impeccable grammar
- Advanced organization and prioritization skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience compiling and presenting statistical data
- Compassionate, professional communication style
