We are currently seeking a dedicated, experienced, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. If you have a strong background in Family Medicine and are proficient in eClinicalWorks (eCW), we would love to hear from you. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting providers, delivering exceptional patient care, and ensuring smooth day-to-day clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities ● Welcome and room patients while ensuring a positive patient experience ● Perform patient intake, including obtaining and documenting medical histories, vital signs, medications, and chief complaints ● Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures ● Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and referrals ● Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in eClinicalWorks (eCW) ● Process prescription refill requests and communicate with pharmacies as needed ● Coordinate laboratory orders, diagnostic testing, and patient records ● Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies regarding patient confidentiality ● Support administrative and clinical workflows to maintain efficient practice operations
