About the Role
Hansen and Company Woodworks is seeking a highly skilled CNC/Robotic Cell Technician to join our dynamic team at HCO 2.0, North America’s most advanced Batch 1 production facility. In this pivotal role, you will operate, program, and maintain CNC machinery and robotic cells, significantly contributing to our cutting-edge automated manufacturing processes. Initially, you'll train in our current facility, gaining extensive hands-on experience and professional training before transitioning to our new, state-of-the-art HCO 2.0 facility, set to launch in late 2025/early 2026. This position offers outstanding opportunities for ongoing education, technical advancement, and career growth in automation and advanced manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and program CNC machinery and robotic cells to produce high-quality, precision wood components.
- Perform accurate machine setup, tooling adjustments, and calibration to maintain exceptional production standards.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues efficiently.
- Collaborate proactively with the Production Manager and Engineering Team to continually enhance and streamline production processes.
- Ensure the workspace is maintained clean, organized, and safe, adhering to all safety standards and protocols.
- Accurately track production data and document key performance metrics using computer-based systems.
- Embrace continuous learning and quickly adapt to emerging automation technologies and advanced software tools.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience operating or programming CNC machinery or robotic cell systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude coupled with a technical mindset.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and adeptness at machine troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, with capability to excel both independently and as a collaborative team member.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with Kuka robotic systems.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
- Background in woodworking, fabrication, or advanced manufacturing processes.
