Pay Range: $30.00 – $35.00+/hour based on experience (2.25 differential/ hour)
Job Type: Full-time
As our business continues to grow, we are opening a new second shift and looking for an experienced CNC Machinist Superintendent to help lead it. This role offers the chance to be involved from the ground up, working in a clean, modern shop where teamwork and craftsmanship are truly valued.
You will stay hands-on with CNC machining while also supporting and guiding other machinists. The work focuses on producing high-quality, precision components for the blow mold tooling industry (EBM, ISBM, IBM), with an emphasis on doing things right, safely, efficiently, and with pride in the finished product.

What You Will Do:
- Lead by example through hands-on CNC machining and setup work
- Set up, adjust and operate basic machine tools to produce precision components
- Perform CNC machine setup, including fixture setup and tool changes
- Load tools, verify offsets, and ensure proper tool performance
- Align and secure workpieces and tools with accuracy
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specs
- Perform quality inspections using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Support and mentor machinists on the shift, promoting best practices
- Assist with workflow coordination to meet production goals
- Document work, maintain equipment, and support team goals
- Promote a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
✅ Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Preferably 5-10+ years of CNC machining experience
- Prior leadership or lead/supervisory experience preferred but not required
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with basic math, geometric tolerances and machining fundamentals preferred
- MasterCam knowledge is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and operate measurement tools
- Forklift/crane operation skills and ability to lift 50 lbs
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that may require frequent bending, stooping, and lifting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced for quality and accuracy
- Ability to operate machines and equipment with manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Must be able to operate a forklift as needed to handle materials
