Founded 20+ years ago, we are a client-centric CPA firm based in Forth Worth, Texas. Our company specializes in tax services, business consulting, accounting, assurance, and analytics - within diverse industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, and real estate. We are growing and looking to add an Audit Manager to the mixture.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead our assurance team and ensure the highest levels of audit quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and assurance services, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service and maintaining robust quality controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage assurance engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and audit reports for accuracy and adherence to GAAP, GAAS, and FASB standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice and addressing their audit-related needs.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff, fostering a collaborative team environment and enhancing professional development.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop audit strategies that effectively address identified risks.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and recommend best practices to clients.

Qualifications

  • CPA certification is required.
  • Proven experience in public accounting and assurance services.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles such as GAAP, GAAS, and FASB.
  • Experience with audit methodologies and standards, including Yellow Book guidelines.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other relevant software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
