Summary:
As a result of ongoing growth, WRRE is seeking a Loan Coordinator for the team. The Loan Coordinator is primarily responsible for the gathering of verifications and borrower documentation and working closer with the loan officer before the file is submitted to underwriting.
Essential Functions:
- Review accuracy of loan application received by sales for completeness.
- Set up and complete borrower files in Encompass and ensure all data fields are completed.
- Communicate with borrowers to gather documents,
- Order appraisals, request asset/employment verifications, review documents (paystubs, tax returns, W2s, etc.)
- Calculate income, analyze bank statements for sufficient funds to close/large deposits.
- Understand urgency of meeting contingency and closing dates
- Obtain all necessary letters of explanations from borrowers
- Assist the Loan Officers to submit complete loan files to the underwriting department
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Mortgage experience.
- Must know how to use automated underwriting services (DU, LP and Total scorecard)
- Knowledge of Agency, FHA, VA, and Local State finance programs. Non-QM a plus.
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have extremely strong customer service skills and enjoy working with others.
- Must be fast paced and deadline oriented with outstanding verbal and written skills. Must be a strong communicator.
Hours of Work:
- This position is full-time in office, Monday – Friday in our Shelton, CT office during regular business hours.
