Specialty: Pediatric ICU
Shift: Nights – 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Holidays: Some required

Position Overview

Seeking experienced PICU Registered Nurses for a night shift assignment in a high-acuity pediatric intensive care setting.

Candidates must have recent experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center or hospital of similar size and acuity. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to function independently with minimal orientation, and excellent communication skills.

Required Experience

• Minimum 3 years of recent PICU experience (within the past 2 years)

• Experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center or comparable facility

• Experience in hospitals of equal or greater size (travelers only)

• Strong acute care assessment skills

• Ability to perform majority of patient care skills with minimal supervision

Preferred Experience

• EPIC EMR experience

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active New York State RN License

• BLS Certification

• Must be eligible for recertification if needed
