Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
As a machine operator, you will be responsible for starting up, running, and maintaining one to four machines. Your role will include daily upkeep, proper documentation, and quality checks of the products being run. Additional assembly work and preparation of cables are also part of this role.
Responsibilities
- Load contact reels onto machines and place empty reels in proper areas.
- Keep machine magazines full of raw housings.
- Unload machines and place parts in proper packaging.
- Perform frequent inspections of product output for quality.
- Conduct measurement checks on necessary contacts or products.
- Perform daily checks of oil levels and conduct daily machine cleaning.
- Complete required traceability documentation.
- Fill out maintenance request forms and record daily maintenance.
- Communicate machine problems to maintenance mechanics.
Essential Skills
- Manufacturing experience as a machine operator.
- Ability to use a microscope.
- Strong computer skills.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend procedures.
- Good oral communication skills.
- Good hand and eye coordination.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Preferred electronic/electrical background.
- Assembly or machine experience is a major plus.
- Direct electronic assembly experience.
- Attention to detail.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean and climate-controlled, with many employees working in clean rooms. Employees have a designated work area and will alternate between sitting and standing throughout their shift. The dress code includes clean jeans or work pants and a clean shirt, with no piercings allowed. A static-resistant smock and tape on shoes are required to remove static. PPE is provided, including smocks, safety glasses, ear protection, face masks, and gloves. Steel toes are not required. Shifts are available on all three shifts, with priority on the 2nd shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Etters, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.47/hr.
