Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Perform advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures in a dynamic healthcare environment, utilizing Philips and GE MRI scanners to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute high-quality MRI exams under the guidance of a radiologist, ensuring precision and adherence to imaging protocols.
- Engage in educational and research activities related to MRI to advance departmental knowledge and departmental goals.
- Effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team members to facilitate smooth operations and patient satisfaction.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently and escalate challenging interactions to management as necessary.
- Utilize Epic EMR and McKesson imaging systems for documentation and workflow support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiology program is mandatory.
- Current ARRT (R)(MRI) certification required, or ability to obtain certification within one year of hire.
- Minimum of 5 years of MRI experience required, with at least 1 year in a Level I trauma hospital setting.
- Proficiency operating Philips MRI equipment is essential.
- Strong computer skills, including navigation and email applications, required.
