Job Summary
AC Mechanical Construction is seeking a Gas Pipefitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing gas piping systems in accordance with applicable codes, blueprints, and project specifications. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of working independently or as part of a small crew.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and prepare sites for construction operations
• Measure, cut, weld, assemble, lubricate, and install pipes
• Pressure test gas lines to ensure proper installation and code compliance.
• Inspect and repair existing gas piping systems as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in safe working order.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent AC Mechanical Construction professionally on every job site.
• Follow all safety procedures and local building codes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pipefitter is preferred
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of all relevant health and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting heavy objects
• Valid drivers license and good driving record.
• Ability to work overtime when required
