Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at the Nancy Ausonio Mammography Center.
About the Role:
In this role, you’ll perform screening and diagnostic mammography and bone density exams while working closely with radiologists and a supportive imaging leadership team. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality women’s imaging services in accordance with ACR and MQSA standards, with a strong focus on patient comfort, safety, and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mammography and bone density exams
- Assist radiologists with procedures such as needle localization and biopsies
- Ensure image quality, documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
What We’re Looking For:
- ARRT (R)(M) and current CRT (or ability to obtain)
- BLS certification
- Mammography experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
