Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Behavior Specialist with BCBA certification is sought to support a K-12 school environment near Plymouth, MN. This contract position offers a full-time schedule averaging 36.25 hours per week and involves managing a caseload of 8 classrooms with 40-45 students, including 4 students in specialized settings. The role requires delivering behavior analysis services, conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), handling documentation and paperwork, and participating in debriefing sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide behavior intervention and support for students across multiple classrooms
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments to develop effective behavior plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and reports
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to implement behavior strategies
- Participate in debriefing and team meetings to review student progress and adjust plans accordingly
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold a current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS) credential
- Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong skills in behavior assessment, intervention planning, and data collection
- Ability to manage multiple classrooms and student caseload efficiently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educational teams
